This is the all new AFR 212cc Black Hawk Gen III HEMI Aluminum Bare CNC Ported Cylinder Head, 69cc Chamber, Passenger Side. You will also need to order AFR part number 2523 to complete a pair of heads.
Compatible with Apache and Eagle engines produced from 2003 through 2023, Gen 3 Hemi 6.2L/6.4L Blocks Only
AFR's CNC-ported cylinder heads for 5.7/6.1L, 6.2/6.4L engines offer excellent low-end and street/strip performance while maintaining strong top-end power. Made from A356 aluminum, the 212cc Black Hawk heads feature fully CNC-ported intake, exhaust, and combustion chambers, and a thick .750” head deck for boosted engines. Enhanced cooling is achieved through improved water jacketing, and a machining option is available for Hellcat supercharger compatibility. Designed for hydraulic roller cams with lifts up to .600”, they come in three versions to suit different builds.

AFR Black Hawk Gen III Hemi Cylinder Heads
- With some domed aftermarket pistons, it may be necessary to slightly clearance or modify the piston due to our more efficient heart shaped combustion chamber design. Most of the newer designed dome profiles will clear. AFR strongly recommends material be removed from the piston and not the cylinder head. Our combustion chamber shapes are very critical to flow and altering the cylinder head can adversely affect flow and power production. It is the customers responsibility to verify proper piston to head clearance.
- Heads are designed for 3/8" pushrods. Larger pushrods will not fit without clearancing and is not recommended since some areas are very thin. AFR recommends the use of .120" thick-wall pushrods.
- For ideal geometry and wipe pattern AFR strongly recommends AFR stud mount rockers part #6043 for applications below 7400 RPM and .790 lift. For applications above these limits shaft mount rockers are typically advised.
- VALVE COVERS: AFR designed valvetrain around 06-later gen iii hemi valve cover clearance. Use in 03-05 gen iii hemi may be possible but is not verified or supported by Air Flow Research and additional parts may be required. You must use the 2006 and later plastic valve covers along with the appropriate ignition coils, or an equivalent aftermarket valve cover.
