This GM Performance camshaft is perfect for those looking to remove DOD system saving your engine from thousands of dollars in repairs and long down times. This will not be the camshaft for those looking to increase their peak power numbers its for those looking to save themselves from a costly repair. Professional installation is recommended as the vehicle's calibration must be adjusted to deactivate the DOD system. Many times, no dyno tuning is required as the valve events have not been altered drastically from OEM levels, simply changed to work with non-DOD components. Consult your tuner for all questions and concerns surrounding the computer's DOD deactivation.
