This BTR camshaft and DOD/AFM/DFM delete kit includes everything needed to install including the world renown Gen V L83/L8B/L82/L84 stage 1 camshaft. designed to be used in milder street-strip L83 combos using small twins or single turbos in the 70-75MM range. This camshaft exhibits excellent street manners, yet makes more power than similar cams with more duration. This camshaft works equally well for light towing, daily driving or for use in your weekend cruiser. As with all BTR offerings, these cams were designed to help achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards

Note: L83 and L84 use different DOD plugs use the options to select your engine type, this kit has many product options please make sure you see the blue "choose product options" button to configure your system and avoid any delays.

*Notice, Custom tuning is required after installation to properly configure the camshaft and disable the DFM/AFM/DOD system. (Use the VVT Target map in picture 3 for tuning)

Important Information: Please select your options using the blue button. To install these parts a new crankshaft bolt is required. The cam install kit is highly recommended as the camshaft bolt can only be reused a few times and many techs like to always install new ones. Arp bolts/studs are reusable. Short travel lifters allow higher rpm capability and also require .050 shorter pushrods (so if everything is factory untouched 7.800").
