This 217 intake duration cam is BTR's largest recommended offering for a L83 with unmilled cylinder heads. With just simple bolt-ons this grind has made well over 500hp in a stock bottom end application. It's truly a marvel in its ability to perform well in such a mild application. By continuing to utilize the factory VVT system, we were able to set the valve events where we like for stump pulling torque down lown while providing EXPLOSIVE top end power. In this sense, the end user truly has the best of both worlds.
Note: L83 and L84 use different DOD plugs use the options to select your engine type, this kit has many product options please make sure you see the blue "choose product options" button to configure your system and avoid any delays.
*Notice, custom tuning is required after installation to properly configure the camshaft and disable the DFM/AFM/DOD system. (For tuning use the provided VVT Target Map in picture 5)
