Notes on Hellcat OE Fuel Pressure Sensor Options:
By default, our fuel system will delete the OE fuel pressure sensor. Due to popular request, we have added the following provisions for the fuel pressure sensor, which must be selected by the purchaser:
-Delete OE Fuel Pressure Sensor.
-Inline Aftermarket Sensor: includes a new AC Delco sensor and provisions to mount in a high flow coupling with two more hose ends. In L2 and L4 systems, this can be installed without extending the OE electrical harness; however, extension of the OE harness may still be required on L3 systems..
-Regulator Mounted Aftermarket Sensor: includes a new AC Delco sensor and an adapter to mount directly on the fuel pressure regulator. The installer will have to extend the OE electrical harness to accommodate the new location of the sensor.
Fuel Type:
Gasoline / race gas: choose if you are will only be running typical pump gas or race gasoline, such as MS109, C16, Q16, etc.
Ethanol blends, gasoline, race gas: choose if you will be running a combination of gasoline, race gas, E85, E98, E85R, C85, etc.
This is a standalone fuel system. Professional installation and custom tuning are required. Qualified installers and tuners must be capable of interfacing with the OE harness and FPDM (if applicable), properly routing hoses, positioning components correctly, and ensuring factory-like pump prime and on/off functionality without triggering error codes. Fore Innovations provides detailed component-level instructions and system schematics, along with support for troubleshooting system performance and functionality.
Important Note:
This fuel system produces significantly more heat and flow capacity than the factory setup. The high-output pumps generate additional heat, and the composite fuel tank acts as an insulator, retaining that heat. Furthermore, the design of the factory tank limits fuel pickup capacity. To prevent heat-related damage and maintain consistent fuel delivery, drivers must keep the tank fuller than normal at all times.
Frequent Asked Questions
Q: Can I use this system with E85?
A: Yes, as long as you select microglass ssd or stainless filter element and select E85 rated fuel pumps.
Q: What do I need to add a Flex-Fuel sensor to this system?
A: Fore offers flex-fuel intercept fittings that uses a GM/Continental style flex-fuel sensor which is good for those making 1100 HP if you're making over 1100 HP we recommend the AFD E-Sense Billet Sensor which can have fittings up to -12 AN which is capable of handling 2000+ HP.
Q: Should I select the FC2 or FC3 controller?
A: FC2: controller can only operate two pumps simultaneously, using OE or aftermarket switching signal. Best for controlling two small fuel pumps for street duty, or two large fuel pumps for track use only.
FC3: controller can run 1, 2, or 3 pumps full time, with remaining pumps activated on demand. Requires external switch (i.e. Hobbs, RPM, etc) best for controlling two or three large fuel pumps for street duty and minimizing heat.
Q: What is the difference between PTFE and RH235 Fuel Hose?
A: PTFE Hose: Lasts indefinitely with all fuel types and is non-permeable (no fuel odor in enclosed spaces). Downsides are longer installation times, stainless steel outer braid can scratch surfaces and make noise/vibrations.
Red Horse 235 Hose (RH235): Features nylon outer sleeve protects surfaces and reduces noise/vibration and they're faster to assemble. Downsides are they only have a 5–7 year service life and requires a cable cutter to cut.
