Note: requires valve spring upgrade due to high valve lift and increased rpm in combination with the heavy OEM valves. We also recommend the use of hardened pushrods in power adder applications.

Description

580+ HP at the crank of your 6.4L Hemi is what you can expect with our 228 camshaft. The 228 grind provides additional horsepower and torque throughout the entire operating range while delivering an aggressive idle quality . On the BTR Superflow engine Dyno, we observed gains starting at 2400 RPM, with a peak gain of 50+ HP at 6500 rpm and 46 lb/ft at 6400 RPM. The 228 continues to pull strong up to 7000 RPM!

224 Camshaft requires the use of a VVT Limiter to be installed in your cam phaser. This is included in the camshaft box no need to purchase. However, if you do not already have the required installation tool, you will need to purchase the tool separately see the product options.
