Designed from the ports up to provide you with Ultimate Bolt-On Performance™, Trick Flow’s® R-Series intake manifold will make big power on your Mopar 440-based engine build.
Inside the manifold is a CAD-optimized, large open plenum and one-piece single plane runner design with special attention paid to smooth airflow for equalized air and fuel distribution. Trick Flow® engineers also focused on weight reduction by casting it in strong yet lightweight cast aluminum and eliminating excess material where possible. However, they were sure to leave enough material around the port openings so the manifold can be port matched and/or fully ported, if desired. Integral bosses cast into each runner can be drilled and tapped to accept nozzles for nitrous applications. And if all these features don’t convince you that the Trick Flow® R-Series intake manifold means business, then the Holley 4500 Dominator carburetor flange surely will.
Trick Flow's® R-Series intake manifold is meant for use on large cubic inch engines making peak horsepower in the 3,500-7,500 plus RPM range. While designed to produce maximum power with Trick Flow’s® PowerPort 270 cylinder heads, the manifold also performs extremely well on engines equipped with other brands of cylinder heads that have 270cc and larger intake ports.
