What Makes It Different
Unlike other systems, the A&A Secondary Drive doesn't route accessory power through the A/C belt. The A/C belt stays completely untouched. Instead, the accessory drive shaft pulley runs on its own dedicated belt, allowing full belt wrap on both the crankshaft pulley and the accessory drive shaft pulley — with independent tensioning. This design eliminates the accessory belt slip that affects other systems.
Spring tensioners on both the alternator/power steering belt and the accessory drive shaft maintain proper wrap and tension at all times, automatically taking up slack as it develops.

Tool-Free Tensioning
The lower spring tensioner includes a lock pin, just like the billet tensioner on our main bracket. Simply slip the belt over the pulley and pull the pin — tension is set instantly, with no adjustment needed.
Solving Cog Drive Limitations

Standard cog drive systems have two built-in weaknesses:

No fore/aft control — Cog belts require a guide pulley to prevent lateral movement. Without one between the crank and drive pulleys (as is the case in most current systems), even slight shifting can cause the cog belt to contact the A/C belt.
Static tensioning — Tension set correctly on a cold engine becomes too tight once the engine heats up, since most cog drive systems lack a dynamic tensioner to compensate for thermal expansion or belt stretch.

The A&A Secondary Drive System resolves both problems: multi-groove belts stay securely in place with no fore/aft drift, and our dynamic tensioner automatically adjusts for temperature changes and belt stretch.
