Volkswagen GTI Mk V 2006-2009 2.0T - Stage 5 SPEC Clutch

This Stage 5 clutch will fit the 2006-2009 Volkswagen GTI Mk V 2.0T and will hold 684 lb/ft of torque at the flywheel. This kit replaces the OE Luk S-A-C clutch design in favor of our Grand Am Cup design and requires our flywheel to convert from the original dual mass design to a single mass performance alternative. The package includes all hardware needed for install.

Stage Five
SPEC's strongest clutch is made specifically for drag racing high powered vehicles or applications that call for a "slipper" clutch/progressive torque-induced engagement. They feature an unsprung, rigid, iron disc that engages instantly and strongly. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, iron disc assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly.
