TSP Gen V L86/L87 6.2L Truck Stage 2 Camshaft with Valve Train Upgrade & DOD/AFM/DFM Delete Kit - 76+ HP Gain
The Texas Speed & Performance L86 Stage 2 camshaft is a great choice for the enthusiast looking for an additional jump in horsepower without sacrificing drivability. It will have a nice lope at idle but nothing too aggressive. It does not retain the factory AFM/DOD functionality that deactivates cylinders, so a DOD/AFM delete kit will be needed. We recommend that the VVT be locked out by means of a phaser lockout kit for all of our TSP LT camshafts.
Note: This kit has many product options please make sure you see the blue "choose product options" button to configure your system and avoid any delays.
*Notice, Custom tuning is required after installation to properly configure the camshaft and disable the AFM/DOD system.
Important Information: This kit has many options to add or remove parts use the blue "choose product options" button. To install these parts a new crankshaft bolt is required. Camshaft VVT bolt is highly recommended as it can only be reused a few times and many techs like to always install new ones. ARP bolts/studs are reusable not torque-to-field.
*For those who want short travel lifters for 6500+ rpm applications, you need to read the instructions on the PN: Morel-7790 page. Using the documents tab as they are very specific. Pushrod size will not be the stock 7.850" size you must measure.
Description
A high pressure fuel pump lash cap is commonly used when using aftermarket camshafts with 32+% fuel lobe for camshafts that are less than 32% fuel lobe measuring is still required CLICK HERE for a forum post with a great explanation on how to do so.
