This BTR camshaft and DOD/AFM/DFM delete kit includes everything needed to install including the world renown Gen V L83/L8B/L82/L84 stage 2 camshaft. Designed for use in aggressive L83 and Street Strip L86/LT1 combos using small twin 58-6X mm or single turbos in the 80-88mm range. This camshaft offers an aggressive idle and even more midrange and top end capability than our Gen V Stage 1 cam. As with all BTR offerings, these cams were designed to help achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.

Note: L83 and L84 use different DOD plugs use the options to select your engine type, this kit has many product options please make sure you see the blue "choose product options" button to configure your system and avoid any delays.

*Notice, Custom tuning is required after installation to properly configure the camshaft and disable the DFM/AFM/DOD system. (Use the VVT Target map in picture 3 for tuning)

Important Information: Please select your options using the blue button. To install these parts a new crankshaft bolt is required. The cam install kit is highly recommended as the camshaft bolt can only be reused a few times and many techs like to always install new ones. Arp bolts/studs are reusable. Short travel lifters allow higher rpm capability and also require .050 shorter pushrods (so if everything is factory untouched 7.800").
