BTR Gen V L86/L87 6.2L Truck 230 Camshaft with Valve Train Upgrade & DOD/AFM/DFM Delete Kit - 149+ HP Gain
This cam is not for the weak at heart. Intended for use as a MAX EFFORT VVT cam, in combination with aftermarket milled and ported cylinder heads, while using an aftermarket throttle body and intake manifold such as our Trinity series intake. Best results when using a 5" cold air intake tube set up. If you're wanting brutal mid range and top end power, these are this camshaft's shining attributes. We've seen power figures North of 730 hp on our engine dyno in a SBE application when used in conjunction with BTR valve train components. Higher than stock stall converter and lower gearing* (when applicable) is recommended along with an E85 compatible fuel system.
Note: This kit has many product options please make sure you see the blue "choose product options" button to configure your system and avoid any delays.
*Notice, Custom tuning is required after installation to properly configure the camshaft and disable the AFM/DOD system.

Expected HP Gain: 149+ HP Gain when using GMPP Heads, MSD Intake & This Camshaft!) *A stock engine with the OE intake manifold can see gains of 80+ HP, but this setup isn’t recommended. For stock engines, we suggest looking at the 220 or 225 camshafts instead.
