Trickflow is building on the features that make the GenX 255 for GM LS3 great—like 12 valve angles and relocated valves for reduced valve shrouding and improved piston-to-valve clearance—Trick Flow's GenX 280 HIP cylinder head withstands the abuse of high horsepower, power-adder performance demanded by today's racers and engine builders.
The GenX 280cc heads list of features is long, and it starts with the HIP'd (Hot Isostatic Pressed) castings. This process significantly increases the casting's density for improved tensile and fatigue strength. It continues with industry leading airflow through CNC Competition Ported 280cc intake ports and Trick-Alloy powdered metal valve guides for added longevity. 750-inch thick deck, and 6-bolt-per-cylinder mounting pattern round out the features.
