This BTR camshaft and valve train kit includes the well-known LT L8T Truck 230 Camshaft and BTR 0.650 Lift Conical Spring Kit. Whether your project involves turbocharged, supercharged, or naturally aspirated setups, BTR offers numerous options, all supported by years of expertise, knowledge, and a dedication to power.

This cam is not for the weak at heart. Intended for use as a MAX EFFORT VVT cam, in combination with aftermarket milled and ported cylinder heads, while using an aftermarket throttle body and intake manifold such as our Trinity series intake. Best results when using a 5" cold air intake tube set up. If you're wanting brutal mid range and top end power, these are this camshaft's shining attributes. We've seen power figures North of 730 hp on our engine dyno in a SBE application when used in conjunction with BTR valve train components. Higher than stock stall converter and lower gearing* (when applicable) is recommended along with an E85 compatible fuel system.

Note: Valve spring kits upgrades and Pushrod options available, see the product options to configure your system and avoid any delays!

*To maximize the performance of this camshaft, we recommend using VVT limiters or lockouts to disable the VVT function on your Gen V LT engine. This increases piston-to-valve clearance, allowing for longer camshaft durations than stock like this camshaft.

*Custom tuning is required after installation. We offer remote tuning options see here or we recommend going to a local dyno shop near you for custom tuning.
