In L86 truck applications, the BTR Gen V 220 cam delivers strong low- and mid-range torque with impressive power to redline. *To maximize the performance of this camshaft, we recommend using VVT limiters or lockouts to disable the VVT function on your Gen V LT engine. This increases piston-to-valve clearance, allowing for longer camshaft durations than stock like this camshaft.
