This is a Whipple Intercooled Supercharger Stage 1 System with a W175AX 2.9L blower setup for the 2018 Dodge Durango 6.4L which will get you over 555+ rear wheel horsepower! These kits now all include the brand new Gen 3 supercharger upgrade, good for about 50 horsepower over previous versions of the same kit! All 2015-2018 6.4L Kits will need a HP Tuners PCM purchased, and the kits include an HP Tuners Tuner with the programming pre-loaded. While others claim, Whipple Superchargers simply deliver more power per pound of boost than any other supercharger on the market today.

This system is 100% complete, including the new Whipple Gen 3 2.9L supercharger, high flow fuel injectors, gateway security bypass for OBD communication, and all the necessary parts install. Customers will have to address unlocking their PCMs. This is a fairly simple process but does involve purchasing a modified PCM for unlocking ($250-$650) which is an option on the kit. If you have other modifications such as headers, midpipe, camshaft, etc. then look at the Tuner kits. The tuning is for stock vehicles or those with a catback only, just bolt on and drive!

These supercharger kits are the most complete available, including everything needed for installation. This includes all mounting brackets for the blower, pullies, belts, intercooler, all the tubing, piping, fittings and clamps and even oil for the self contained lubricating system. You do not need to make any major modifications or purchase special tools or other parts. Many customers install in their garage or driveway over a weekend. Estimated 12-15 hour install.

Front Inlet vs. Rear Inlet
While some systems used a shaft through the inlet to drive the supercharger, limiting plenuem volume and inlet flow capacity, the Whipple system uses a drive shaft driven by 2 precision ground helical gears on the side of the supercharger, allowing for maximum flow potential.
