Volkswagen GTi Mk VII/Golf R 2014-2016 2.0T - Stage 1 SPEC Clutch

This Stage 1 clutch will fit the 2014-2016 Volkswagen GTI Mk VII/Golf R and will hold 430 lb/ft of torque at the flywheel. These kits feature our non-ratcheting billet pressure plates for a considerable load in crease over the ratcheting kits, while maintaining a friendly pedal requirement.

Stage One
These clutches are great as a replacement for the stock clutch, and engage as smooth with stock-like daily drivability, but are much higher quality with very good wear characteristics. They are also good for high performance street driving, or light drag strip action for bolt on naturally aspirated and mildly modified forced induction engines. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, steel-backed and multi-compound woven organic clutch disc with a high torque sprung hub and disc assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly. This concentric slave is available at your local dealership.
