This Stage 5 clutch will fit the 2014-2016 Volkswagen GTI Mk VII/Golf R and will hold 588 lb/ft of torque at the flywheel. These kits are for use with the dual mass flywheel or SPEC billet flywheel made for the ratcheting clutch.
Stage Five
SPEC's strongest clutch is made specifically for drag racing high powered vehicles or applications that call for a "slipper" clutch/progressive torque-induced engagement. They feature an unsprung, rigid, iron disc that engages instantly and strongly. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, iron disc assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly.
