This Vortech Air-to-Air Intercooled supercharger system with a V3 Si head unit setup for the 2016-2018 Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2L will get you about 225 horsepower gained on just 7-7.5 psi of boost! Black Polished upgrade option is pictured for reference only, the standard kit is satin finish. This is the tuner kit which will require a custom tune done locally after you install the kit, and does not include a fuel system, programmer, or tuning.

Vortech's 2016-2018 Sixth-Gen Camaro SS Supercharger Systems are available as either a complete, fully calibrated bolt-on, or as a Tuner Kit for custom installations for modified vehicles or higher horsepower applications.

The 2016-2018 Camaro SS systems utilize Vortech's V-3 Si supercharger. Continued development in Vortech's Lab resulted in the V-3 Si. The "i" stands for improved and with its new patented oil control system and state of the art centrifugal compressor stage this V-3 literally blows away the competition. Industry leading 78% adiabatic efficiency [SAE J1723 standard] means less heat is being generated, drive power is reduced and more net power is produced. Less heat also means better durability.

Superior Technology
Centrifugal superchargers easily make more pressure and flow than a roots type blower and are much more efficient. Read our Roots vs Centrifugal comparison to see the numbers.

Vortech supercharger systems are a great value. Dollar for dollar, Vortech systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other method of upgrade. Also, driven normally, gas mileage often increases rather than decreases.

Tuner Kits, Upgrades, More HP
For higher-horsepower, custom-tuned installations we recommend a tuner kit, which does not include MAP sensor or ECU programmer. This requires you or your installer to provide custom calibration and the required fuel components. The V-3 Si supercharger included with the tuner kit is capable of up to 775HP on modified vehicles. Supercharger Kit Finishes
Multiple kit finishes available. For that fully integrated look, 6.2L Camaro systems are available in factory matching black finish. Satin and Polished units are also available.

- V-3 Si compressor with 34 tooth drive pulley
- 3.60" jackshaft input pulley; 30 tooth output pulley
- Manifold boost pressure: 7.0-7.5 psig @ redline on stock engine
Air inlet assembly includes:
- K&N air filter
- Stainless steel exhaust heat shield
- Crankcase breather hose and connections
Mounting bracket assembly includes:
- Billet aluminum and steel supercharger plates. Rigid mount features multiple position idler location for a wide range of belt and pulley combinations.
- Idlers, drive belts and all hardware.
Discharge components include:
- Welded air/air charge cooler (18.7" x 15" x 3" cooler core) with integrated brackets and MAF provision.
- Mandrel bent aluminum charge tubes for high flow and minimal weight
- Stainless steel clamps and silicone coupling sleeves
- Plug-and-play MAF sensor extension harness
- Vortech Maxflow Race Bypass Valve with filter

Installation
Installation time is rated at 7-10 hours.

CARB Compliance
Tuner Kits are NOT CARB legal, and are legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway (off-road use only). Installation of this part on a vehicle driven on public roads and highways is likely to violate U.S Law regarding motor vehicle emissions.

Optional Parts/Accessories
Supercharger pulleys
- To change pulley on supercharger, use Vortech 4GR033-xxx series supercharger pulleys.
- To change cog pulley on jackshaft, use Vortech 4GR032-xxx series supercharger pulleys.
- To change serpentine pulley on jackshaft, use Vortech 2A036-xxx series 6-Rib supercharger pulleys.
Vortech offers several sizes in each of these pulley types to choose from.
