Our 306 Performance Short Block is designed for n/a, nitrous, or boosted applications looking for a strong piston and rod setup, but still utilizing the OEM roller block. This bottom end is balanced to 50oz and like all of our short blocks, is professionally assembled, machined, and has all new parts installed. We also will paint the block the color of your choice for only $50. Whether you are planning a high rpm n/a setup, nitrous, or boost, this short block is the one for you! This is able to withstand up to 600hp at the crank (550 supercharged due to power to turn the supercharger). Don't hesitate to ask us about custom internal parts for your exact needs, wants, and application!

Description

Block: .030 over TREperformance prepped roller 302 block, clearanced for stroker crank, all bolt holes are tapped, gasket surfaces are cleaned fully, surface decked, and the block is then washed and new expansion plugs and galley plugs installed.

Crank: Oem late model crankshaft, turned .010/.010, thermal cleaned, shot-peened, Magna Fluxed, precision ground, oil scooped and chamfered(balanced with the rest of the assembly to a 50oz imbalance).

Rods: Scat 5140 Forged machined beam 5.09", arp 8740 3/8" cap screws.

Bearings: Clevite P series rod and main (MS590P-10 and CB634P-10) and Clevite SH510S cam bearings.

Pistons: Racetec Pistons Autotec line 4032 forged, -5cc flat top (good to about 175hp nitrous or 12psi boost, specific for inline or twisted wedge heads)

Rings: Mahle plasma moly
