Our 331/347 Performance Short Block is the perfect short block for your high 9 to low 11 second cars. This bottom end is balanced to 28oz and ready for all the abuse the block can handle. Whether you are planning a high rpm n/a setup, a lot of nitrous, or lots of boost, this shor tblock is the one for you! We don't have a 4340 crank/rod roller 302 shortblock because ITS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY! We only offer the 4340 stuff for the 4 bolt Dart block and sportsman blocks since the stock roller block is always the weak point regardless of the rotating assembly inside of it. This shortblock is designed without the wristpin in the oil groove for the ultimate in reliability. Don't hesitate to ask us about custom internal parts for your exact needs, wants, and application!

Block: .030 over TREperformance roller 302 block, clearanced for stroker crank.

Crank: TREperformance cast steel 3.4" crankshaft for 347, 3.250" for 331 (balanced with the rest of the assembly to a 28oz imbalance)

Rods: TREperformance 5140 Forged I beam 5.4" with arp bolts for 331, or 5.315" for 347.

Bearings: Clevite P rod and main.

Pistons: Probe SRS 2618-t6 high alloy lightweight forged pistons, Flat top (10.79:1 w/60cc), dish top (9.58:1 w/60cc), or blower dish top (9.01:1 w/60cc, 8.67:1 w/64cc), very light and strong for high boost or nitrous setups with large valve reliefs for healthy camshafts.

Rings: Speed Pro high performance ductile iron .
