Our 331 / 347 Performance Short Block is the perfect short block for your high 9 to low 11 second cars. This bottom end is balanced to 28oz and ready for all the abuse the block can handle. This bottom end is balanced to 28oz and like all of our short blocks, is professionally assembled, machined, and has all new parts installed. We also will paint the block the color of your choice for only $50. Whether you are planning a high rpm n/a setup, a lot of nitrous, or lots of boost, this short block is the one for you! We don't recommend 4340 internals in oem blocks since the block is always the weak point. We do offer them as an option in case you intend on switching blocks in the future. Don't hesitate to ask us about custom internal parts for your exact needs, wants, and application!

Long Blocks: There is a $200 charge to assemble anything else you buy from us to your short block. Please ask if you are interested in anything you don't see!

Description

Block: .030 over TREperformance prepped roller 302 block, clearanced for stroker crank, all bolt holes are tapped, gasket surfaces are cleaned fully, surface decked, main caps and block is then washed

Crank: Scat brand cast steel 3.4" crankshaft for 347, 3.250" for 331 (balanced with the rest of the assembly to a 28oz imbalance).

Rods: 5140 forged I beam with arp bolts/capscrews

Bearings: Clevite P series ms590p main bearings, cb634p rod bearings, and sh510s cam bearings

Pistons: Probe SRS 2618-t6 high alloy lightweight forged pistons, Flat top (10.79:1 w/60cc). Dish for low compression or dome for high compression are available and priced in the options below

Rings: Mahle plasma moly.
