Our 306 Performance Short Block is designed for boosted applications looking for a strong piston and rod setup, but still utilizing the roller block and under 600hp at the crank (550 supercharged due to power to turn the supercharger). The oem rods with arp bolts are stronger than the block used in this application, so due to this fact we always recommend using a budget type I beam or factory rods with arp bolts unless a 4 bolt block is utilized. Don't hesitate to ask us about custom internal parts for your exact needs, wants, and application!

Block: .030 over TREperformance roller 302 block.

Crank: TREperformance production crankshaft, thermal cleaned, shot-peened, Magna Fluxed, precision ground, oil scooped and chamfered.

Rods: TREperformance 5140 Forged machined beam 5.09", arp bolts.

Bearings: Clevite P rod and main.

Pistons: Probe SRS 2618-t6 high alloy lightweight forged pistons, Flat top (9.64:1 w/60cc), dome top (11.35:1 w/60cc), or dished top (8.5:1 w/60cc), fits ALL inline heads and twisted wedge and twisted wedge R heads, very light and strong for high boost or nitrous setups with large valve reliefs for healthy camshafts.

Rings: Speed Pro moly .
